What makes Red River sarees special is where it comes from. Eastern India has a weaving tradition that is hard to find anywhere else, and you can know the realness in every piece. The mulmul sarees I bought are some of the softest, most breathable fabrics I have worn, and it keeps getting better after every wash. The matka silk has a stunning purple color, an effortless drape and the design seems very intentional. I have worn it twice and the compliments kept coming. Mass-produced sarees cannot replicate this kind of authenticity. Truly glad that I found this brand.

Our Story
Hello! I am Priyam, the founder of Red River Creations
Inspired by the handloom traditions of Eastern India and the river that shaped my childhood, I founded Red River Creations. Named after the Brahmaputra—the Red River that flows with red silt and along whose banks I grew up in Assam (I even nicknamed my son Luit, which is what the river is fondly called in Assam)—this brand is my way of sharing our timeless handloom magic with the world.
